The Fountain – Heroes part III

The fountain may not be the most talkative hero in our story – but it has a huge impact on the events! Have you ever wondered where the custom of throwing coins into the water and saying wishes comes from?

You will find an interesting description about this custom HERE.

A Very Merry Christmas!

The entire All Blue Studio team would like to wish you lots of joy at the Christmas day and special moments with your beloved ones.

And may your Christmas sparkle with love, laughter and goodwill.

Merry Christmas to all!

App’s release in 2018

The winter is coming – and the white ravens have appeared… even in “The Thief of Wishes”.

Unfortunately we are forced to move the premiere of our app to the beginning of next year. It was not an easy decision to make. But we want to show you our app as a fully finished product, so we have decided to continue working until we are fully satisfied with the final result. At present there are still recordings and changes in music to be done. We would also like to provide you more language versions.

Thank you very much for your patience and support.

Hopefully “The Thief of Wishes” will be able to meet your expectations soon and that will fulfil our dream!

The Thief of Wishes – Developer’s point of view

At the beginning of our work on “The Thief of Wishes”, we had a difficult choice – which platform do we want to develop for? At first, we considered Unity with its flexibility. Of course, the free engine which we can use to develop for Windows, Android and Steam is a great advantage, but also a lot of problems. We didn’t have many expectations except one: to be able to develop our project fast. And this is what we couldn’t achieve.

Mini-games are the newest addition to The Thief of Wishes.  We decided that even the youngest ones should will find something interesting in our app – just as a break from the main story. Each of the games is dedicated to a different area of child development: reflex, memory or perception.

The Thief of Wishes – The Town

The plot of “Thie Thief of Wishes” takes place in a small, but vibrant and – unsurprisingly – nameless town. As usual in fables we didin’t want to restrict ourselves to specific cultural context or timeframe. Still, we preferred not to set our story in a place that would be devoid of character.

The Thief of Wishes – Heroes part II

Although the Thief and Catharine are the main characters in our story, there are many other interesting personalities in the town. To break the evil spell and free her family and friends from the curse, Catharine must properly recognize and assign wishes to the people who made them.

The Thief of Wishes – Heroes

But what about the Thief? At the beginning, before the final concept of the “demonic raven”, we had a few other ideas. We knew from the start that we want Catharine (“The Girl”) and the Thief (“The Monster”) perform together as a duo. But the theme of the script was more comedic, with continuous escapes, gags and many attempts to take the stolen coins away from the Thief.
